In 2025, the UR Walpole theme was Air.

Throughout the year, students explored the importance of air in our lives through a range of hands-on experiences and community-connected learning opportunities. The theme encouraged students to think about the natural environment, sustainability, science and the many ways air influences ecosystems, weather, movement, health and daily life.

As with all UR Walpole themes, learning was strengthened through local partnerships and authentic experiences that helped students connect classroom learning with the world around them.
